Urban Obstacle Race

Hands of Hope and Surry Medical Ministries of Yadkinville and Mount Airy are excited to announce that we are partnering for our inaugural Urban Obstacle Race. This unique 5.6 km walk/run race will start at Thirsty Souls Community Brewing in the beautiful city of Mount Airy, NC. For those interested in more than the typical walk/run, there will be obstacles and challenges along the way for individual and teams of 3 or more. Proceeds of the race will go towards supporting medical needs of uninsured residents of both Yadkin and Surry counties that have no means to pay for healthcare. This fun event will bring more awareness to the services our clinics provide while also promoting health and well-being. Our free medical clinics save our counties significantly in tax dollars and provide exceptional care for the most vulnerable members of our communities

*Friday night during Early Packet Pickup enjoy music and dancing in Melva's Alley in celebration of Cinco de Mayo. "Carb load" with one of the tasty pizza creations at Thirsty Souls Community Brewing!

You must register no later than April 15, 2023 to guarantee your race t-shirt and size.
Race t-shirts may be available on race day on a first-come, first-served basis in limited sizes and quantities. Our t-shirts are a super-soft, cotton-poly blend short-sleeve tee in unisex sizes.

Strollers and pets are not allowed on the course, but all are welcome at the after-party!

*Packets will not be mailed to entrants. Races run rain or shine. Registration fees are not refundable. Race bibs may be transferred to another participant by submitting an email request to contact@gosportstiming.com by May 3rd.
